New Members Join Board

Brock Guice, our new treasurer, and his wife Katie have been helping out with
our Spring Fling for the last few years.
Brock has graciously agreed to serve on the Board of Directors as Treasurer.
Brock moved to Tampa in 2000 after graduating with an accounting degree from
Florida State University. Brock grew up on the east coast in Palm Beach
Gardens, FL but has fallen in love with Tampa. He and his wife Katie, moved to
Ballast Point in November 2003. Brock is a controller at Poe Financial Group
on Harbor Island. Brock enjoys landscaping and home improvement projects as
well as playing outdoor sports with friends. Brock is also on the board of
Business Buddies, a local charitable organization benefiting individuals with
intellectual disabilities.
Scott Brown so impressed the Board of Directors with his presentation
regarding a new office building in Ballast Point that he was asked to serve as
a member.
Scott was born and raised in Polk County. He moved to Tampa in 1987 after
graduating from Stetson College of Law and practiced real estate law with
Hill, Ward & Henderson, P.A. In 1999, Scott left the firm and became active in
residential and commercial real estate development and continues that work
today, building single-family homes, office buildings and commercial tire
stores for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Scott is married (Deborah) and has
2 daughters, ages 9 & 11.
Welcome to our new board members and welcome back to our veterans.
Remember all paid member of the association are eligible to serve on the board
and are welcome to help out!
The Board of Directors meets on opposite month’s of the General Membership
meetings. Board Meetings are open to members who care to attend for
informational purposes, or to air specufic issues.
If you have an issue you would like to address, you are encouraged to contact
a board member to schedule an agenda item.
